1. Billy Preston performed "Agent Double-O-Soul" on Shindig! in 1965. The show was known for its live musical performances by house and guest artists.
2. Ray Charles did indeed perform "You Are My Sunshine" in Brazil in 1963. The performance was part of his tour and televised on Brazilian television.
3. The single "Hitch Hike" was co-written by Marvin Gaye, William “Mickey” Stevenson, and Clarence Paul. Its catchy beat inspired a popular dance.
