And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. The “Runaway” music video was uniquely filmed in a California airplane hangar. Marcus Nispel directed the visual, which features Janet Jackson exploring various international locations.
2. Among the several remixes of “Going Nowhere,” there’s one known as the “Law’s House mix.” It joins a suite of variants, each with distinct musical flair.
3. “It’s a Party” by Busta Rhymes stands out because the song features guest vocals by Zhané. This collaboration added a fresh, impactful sound to Busta’s debut solo album.
4. “Groove of Love” by Ebony Vibe Everlasting was released in multiple formats, notably the vinyl 12″ single. However, digital downloads were not an option during the initial release period in 1994.
5. The Kelly G Bump-N-Go mix of “Never Gonna Let You Go” by Tina Moore achieved outstanding success on the UK charts. Its garage remix brought renewed attention to the song in 1997.
6. In the Bell Biv DeVoe track “Do Me!,” Busta Rhymes is credited for contributing the memorable line about a “backstage underage adolescent.”
7. Public Enemy’s track “Do You Wanna Go Our Way???” signifies the group’s creative freedom post-Def Jam. It coincided with their signing to Atomic Pop, marking a new chapter.
8. De La Soul’s “Breakadawn” prominently samples Michael Jackson’s “I Can’t Help It.” This choice added an iconic layer to the track’s hip hop foundation.
9. Rihanna included “Loveeeeeee Song” in the setlist for her Diamonds World Tour in 2013. The song was part of her *Unapologetic* album era.
10. Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” was the first hip hop debut single by a female solo artist to premiere at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1998.
11. “You Are Not Alone,” written by R. Kelly for Michael Jackson, made history by being the first song to debut at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.
12. Eric Clapton played guitar on Eternal’s rendition of “Someday,” contributing to the track’s rich sound and helping it achieve significant chart success in the UK.
