Bi-Weekly Music Chart Highlights: Top 20 Tracks Across 16 genres Apr 24,2025 edition

Alt Z

The Alt Z chart remains unchanged this month, with no new entries or exits. Elley Duhé’s “Middle Of The Night” continues to lead, followed by Faouzia’s “Minefields” and Sub Urban’s collaboration with Benee on “Uh Oh!”

Despite the lack of movement in rankings, the chart maintains a strong balance of introspective alt-pop and emotionally charged tracks, including Tate McRae’s “Greedy” and Gracie Abrams’ “I Love You, I’M Sorry.”

Alternative Metal

Alternative Metal sees one new entry this month: Linkin Park’s “Lost” returns to the top five, climbing from 7th to 4th place. “Over Each Other” also moves up to 9th. Meanwhile, Skillet’s “Psycho In My Head” enters the top 12.

The upper ranks remain dominated by Linkin Park and Falling In Reverse, with “The Emptiness Machine” and “Watch The World Burn” retaining key positions. The lower half shows minor reshuffling, but no exits.

Alternative R&B features a reshuffling at the top as Sevdaliza’s “Alibi” climbs to number one, overtaking Doechii’s “Denial Is A River.” Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” also sees a notable jump to 4th place.

The overall chart composition remains unchanged, but several tracks have shifted positions. Doechii’s presence remains strong with “Alter Ego,” while Mariah The Scientist and Ari Lennox continue to secure multiple spots.

American Hip-Hop undergoes modest changes. Central Cee and Lil Baby’s “Band4Band” rises to 2nd, pushing Lil Nas X to 3rd. GloRilla’s “I Luv Her” drops to 19th, while “Tomorrow 2” closes the chart at 20th.

Notably, King Von gains ground with “Took Her To The O,” now at 5th. The chart retains its high-profile lineup, dominated by Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Eminem, and multiple entries from GloRilla.
