And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. “Put You in Your Place” reached number 39 on the UK Singles Chart, marking The Sunshine Underground’s highest-charting single. It was part of their debut album Raise the Alarm.
2. A Rough Outline: The Singles & B-Sides 95–03 is the compilation that features The Bluetones’ track. It includes other various tracks from their early career.
3. Razorlight’s track known as “Rock’n’Roll Lies” was part of their 2004 debut album Up All Night. It illustrates early material from the band.
4. The Go:Audio track “She Left Me” was delayed from August 2008 to January 2009 due to a leak. It follows their debut single “Made Up Stories”.
5. Proceeds of their single “No You Girls” by The Fratellis were donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust. It was their first number one on the Scottish Singles chart.
6. McFly’s “I Wanna Hold You” appears on “Now That’s What I Call Music! 62” in the UK. It followed the release of their album Wonderland in 2005.
7. “Still in Love Song” was released by The Stills through Vice Records in 2004. It’s noted for its various physical configurations including a CD single.
8. “Things Will Go My Way” by The Calling charted at number 34 in the UK, its highest position. It was part of their album Two.
9. “Sumatran” was released by The Electric Soft Parade along with “Empty at the End” as a double A-side. It features on their debut album Holes in the Wall.
10. Queens of the Stone Age’s “First it Giveth” is inspired by the biblical phrase “The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away,” hinting at the dual nature of inspiration.
11. The remix of Enter Shikari’s song with the refrain “You’re not getting any sleep tonight” included the Mistabishi Remix. It featured in their album Common Dreads.
12. New Order’s track was released with an extended intro and coda, differentiating it from the single version. It was originally intended for a different artist.
