And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. Brian Molko, the lead singer of Placebo, provided vocals and guitar for “First Day”. Timo Maas kept it eclectic by collaborating with various guest artists on his album “Pictures”.
2. The Jonas Brothers first premiered “Paranoid” on Radio Disney. It was quite the catchy start to their album’s promotion in May 2009.
3. Panic! at the Disco’s song title references a line from the film “Closer”. Natalie Portman must have said something lyrically inspiring.
4. “Spiders” by Moby pays homage to David Bowie. Moby linked both the title and its themes to Bowie’s work.
5. “My Generation” by The Zimmers was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. Known for hosting legends, it became a fitting choice for this unique project.
6. “Mobscene” was nominated for Best Metal Performance. Marilyn Manson aimed to start a visual and musical commotion.
7. The Streets song shares a chord resemblance with “Let It Be”. Lennon-McCartney’s classic left its mark beyond the Beatles’ discography.
8. Friendly Fires’ track was the choice for the BBC’s “Final Score”. It added a danceable rhythm to the football results.
9. Yellowcard band members perform energetically in a parking lot for their song’s music video. Urban landscapes make for surprisingly good acoustics.
10. In “Gets Me Through”, Ozzy Osbourne denies being the Antichrist. The song’s lyrics reveal his appreciation for fan support despite his wild reputation.
11. Angels & Airwaves’ track promoted “Smallville”. It seems superheroes need dynamic soundtracks too.
