And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. “Dusk Till Dawn” was written during the same session as “My Delirium” when Ladyhawke was dealing with jet lag. The inspiration occurred after arriving from New Zealand.
2. The song satirizes the American hip hop scene. Its tagline mocks the clichés often invoked in rap music about violence and lifestyle.
3. “My Doorbell” is notable for its piano-driven sound. This differs from The White Stripes’ typical guitar-heavy style.
4. Juanita Boxill provided spoken vocals for “Two Months Off.” Her contributions also appear on the track “Little Speaker.”
5. “Slow Hands” was recorded at Tarquin Studios. The recording sessions took place in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
6. Slipknot tried and discarded an “Over-caffinated Remix” of “Spit It Out.” The original demo’s energy couldn’t be matched.
7. Wayne Jackson co-wrote “The Other Side” with Paul van Dyk. His vocal contributions preceded their work on “In Between.”
8. The “Uprising” track employed a Buchla synthesizer, marking its first use by Muse. It contributed to the song’s distinct sound.
9. “Are You In?” is unique due to its lyrics being omitted from the liner notes. This stood out compared to other album tracks.
10. “Getting Away with Murder” was the theme for WWE Tough Enough. The track represented a stylistic shift for Papa Roach.
11. Fred Durst directed the music video for “It’s Been Awhile.” His work achieved two award nominations for the video.
12. Slam’s “Lie To Me” was officially released on September 13, 2004. The track is under Soma Records.
