And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. The video for "Helena" is set at a funeral, complementing the song’s themes of loss and farewell. It visually features mourners and a central dancer rising from a coffin.
2. Snow Patrol's "Signal Fire" was part of the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack. Initially offered to Shrek the Third, it found its home with the web-slinger instead.
3. Paul McCoy of 12 Stones delivers the rap vocals in "Bring Me to Life." His answer lines contrast Amy Lee's singing in this Evanescence hit.
4. "The Wicker Man" by Iron Maiden takes its title from the 1973 British horror film. The band’s song does not involve any pyromaniac wickerwork.
5. "Danger! High Voltage" by Electric Six began with a misheard lyric from Devo’s "Girl U Want." Tyler Spencer has a knack for turning mistaken lyrics into singles.
6. Papa Roach’s track is known for its nu metal and rap metal genres. Its length and hybrid style made it a staple of early 2000s rock.
7. "Average Man" reached number 35 on UK Singles Chart. It was one of the singles released to promote Turin Brakes’ album "Ether Song."
8. Gil Norton worked on Halo's "Sanctimonious," bringing notable production talent to the mix. The song appears on their album "LuNAtic riDe."
9. The phrase “fever for the flava” in the Hot Action Cop song comes from a Pringles slogan. Ever catchy, it adds a crispy dimension to the lyrics.
10. Sir Ian McKellen appeared in a Guillemots music video for their song that reached number 49 on the UK Singles Chart. Quite the cameo indeed.
11. "Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt" was a single from "With Love and Squalor." We Are Scientists crafted it into a catchy, energetic release.
12. Chris Cairns directed Little Barrie's "Long Hair" video in one day. Inside a large room in Cairns’s house, creativity flourished within four walls.
