And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. It was indeed "You Take My Breath Away." The song featured in Queen’s 1976 setlist prior to its album release. A proper live sneak peek.
2. The song was by The Boys Next Door. Their Melbourne phase included this cover before they rebranded as The Birthday Party.
3. "Problem Child" was performed live at Atlantic Studios, New York, and that cut appears on the Bonfire box set.
4. Cherie Currie provided the lead vocals for "Cherry Bomb." The lyric inspiration was surprisingly straightforward naming.
5. Thin Lizzy's performance included "Whiskey in the Jar," an Irish ballad that became a defining single for them.
6. "The Ballroom Blitz" was immortalized on Top of the Pops. Sweet's glam sound was perfect for the show’s flair.
7. Clem Burke played drums but wasn’t credited as a songwriter for "Picture This," though perhaps deserved a nod.
8. Sister Sledge was the band originally considered for "Le Freak," and they left behind their background vocals.
9. "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" found its way into the Darkness Tour, an era marking Springsteen’s deepening stage impact.
10. Chorus was the French TV program that filmed Zappa. A unique, structured slice of his performance energy.
11. Joan Armatrading saw "Love and Affection" chart in 1976. The single marked her breakthrough moment.
12. "Map Ref 41°N 93°W" appears on 154, Wire’s third groundbreaking album, further pushing post-punk boundaries.
