And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. “Red Dress” by Sugababes samples “Landslide” by Tony Clarke. Re-recorded with Amelle Berrabah’s vocals, it was also their third single from “Taller in More Ways”.
2. “U Know Y” by MOGUAI was first released on June 10, 2002. It’s part of the album also titled “U Know Y”, with additional releases in 2003 and later.
3. “Walk This Way” is the Aerosmith song covered by Girls Aloud and Sugababes for Comic Relief. The music video humorously reenacts the Run-D.M.C. version.
4. Stefan Fornaro co-produced “On The Run” with Tillmann Uhrmacher. The track hit top positions in various UK dance music charts.
5. “Shimmy Shake” by 740 Boyz is the sampled track in “Shake Ya Shimmy”. The single reached number 28 on the UK Singles Chart in 2003.
6. Justine Suissa is featured in Armin van Buuren’s “Burned with Desire”. It was released as a single from his debut album “76”.
7. “Don’t You Worry Child” was Swedish House Mafia’s final single before disbandment. It reflects themes of reassurance and farewell.
8. “What Do You Want from Me?” by Cascada was released in 2008. The song is part of their second album “Perfect Day”.
9. “Lift Me Up” by Moby played in a 2005 Vodafone commercial. It was released as the lead single from his album “Hotel”.
10. “Heartbeatz” by Styles & Breeze is in G minor. The track, featuring Karen Danzig, reached the UK top-20 in 2005.
11. “Sunrise (Here I Am)” was initially part of Scooter’s project. Released in 2001, Ratty was a side project by the band members.
12. “Food for Thought” by UB40 was originally titled “The Christmas Song”. It critiques the contrast between holiday excess and starvation.
