And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:

1. “Cut Here” creatively spells out “The Cure” as an anagram. The song title does nothing directly lyrically, but the wordplay is noteworthy among fans.

2. UB40 teamed up with Lady Saw for “Since I Met You Baby”. Despite the collaboration, BBC Radio 1 was not impressed enough to add it to their playlist.

3. “Bring It Back” heralded McAlmont & Butler’s reunion in 2002. After a hiatus since 1995, the single marked the reconnection of their signature style.

4. The track “Bring Me to Life” gained extra life in *Daredevil*. Its film inclusion helped amplify Evanescence’s presence ahead of the album release.

5. Rankin lent his directorial eye to the “Passer By” video. This added a visual flair to complement Mattafix’s melodic collage of personal tales.

6. Although he is multi-talented, Patrick Wolf does not play the violin on “Accident & Emergency”. Synths and ukuleles, however, are definitely in his wheelhouse.

7. “Drain the Blood” accelerated into Gran Turismo 4. It showcases the raw energy of The Distillers alongside fast cars and furious gameplay.

8. “Snow White” by Llama Farmers reached number 21 on the Official Independent Singles Chart. Its brief chart life was a blink in the Britpop-grunge timeline.

9. Jam out to gentle rhythms, or stomp to the tap dancing in “Beat Control”. Tilly and the Wall make tap a central percussion feature, aligning sound with motion.

10. “Alsatian” by White Rose Movement evokes New Romantic sounds. Its synth layers hint at Duran Duran-esque inspirations, mixing nostalgic vibes with fresh energy.

11. “Just Friends” explores unrequited affection, a classic dilemma. Nine Black Alps capture that fence-sitting saga of wishful maybe-relationships.

12. “October Swimmer” is recognized for its use of falsetto. Mark Greaney’s emotional high notes layer over dynamic, shifting acoustic elements.
