And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:

1. Kerry King, known for his work with Slayer, makes an appearance adding a solo to this Sum 41 track. The song, originally appearing under a different name, was reworked for the Spider-Man soundtrack.

2. Violent Delight released their song in 2003. The track is part of their album “Transmission,” where it follows “Shattered” and precedes the title track.

3. “One Day” fits snugly into the Breaks genre. NuBreed and Luke Chable released it on Mob Records, and it appeared in a two-part series.

4. Ginger, or David Walls, takes credit for writing and singing on The Wildhearts’ “So Into You.” His role as frontman has been consistent through the band’s lineup.

5. The movie “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” featuring Webbe’s track was released in 2007. The song appeared on a double A-side single the same year.

6. “My Superstar” was a Dimestars release, a modest hit reaching 72 on the UK Singles Chart. Roxanne Wilde fronted the band, notable for their early-2000s activity.

7. “Wake In The City” was released as a single and had “Modern Feeling” as the B-side. It formed part of Ikara Colt’s album Modern Apprentice.

8. The music video for this Saint Etienne track was directed by Mikey Torkins. The video, featuring Sarah Cracknell, aligns with the synthpop vibe of “Sound of Water.”

9. Filmed in Iceland, the video was for a Spiritualized single from “Songs in A&E.” The vistas complemented the band’s atmospheric sound.

10. Chris Olley delivered the vocal performance on “New Year.” It was part of Six by Seven’s album “The Closer You Get,” released on the Mantra label.

11. Foo Fighters’ “Low” video was considered too risqué for MTV. It featured antics by Dave Grohl and Jack Black that proved controversial.

12. Promoted on “Later… with Jools Holland,” Clearlake’s “Let Go” emerged during the early 2000s, building on their appearances leading to their debut album, “Lido.”
