And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. The Streets' "When You Wasn't Famous" reached position 8 on the UK Singles Chart. Despite unusually long track names, Mike Skinner knew how to craft a hit.
2. "Take Your Mama" was inspired by Jake Shears coming out to his parents. It happened during a holiday and they were preparing for a Michael Crawford event.
3. The 2009 re-release of "Thou Shalt Always Kill" featured Posdnuos. He brought a bit of De La Soul into the mix, adding extra flavor to the already spicy track.
4. Criticisms of "The Last Resort" by The Dead 60s focused on electronic elements. While aiming for innovation, not every experiment lands perfectly.
5. "Crawling in the Dark" falls under the nu metal category. Hoobastank joined the early 2000s era trend, and fans didn't crawl away from it.
6. Jack Peñate released "Tonight's Today" with XL Recordings. Known for parties, Jack seemed to find the right rhythm for a memorable track.
7. "She's So Lovely" spent over a year in the UK Top 100. Scouting for Girls proved longevity sometimes matches plenty of loveliness.
8. Simply Red's "Your Eyes" video was filmed in Prague. The helicopter scenes revealed Mick Hucknall's fondness for dramatic settings.
9. "Live with Me" by Massive Attack samples Al Green's "I'm Glad You're Mine." Terry Callier added soul, ensuring charts were always in their mirror.
10. The CD single of "Somewhere I Belong" includes a live version of "Step Up." Linkin Park fans never had to step down from engaging tracks.
11. Flea from The Mars Volta played the trumpet in "The Widow." Trumpeting his way through the track, Flea gave listeners something to remember.
12. "Brick" by Ben Folds Five tells a tale about an abortion experience. Ben Folds delivered heartache wrapped in melodious rhythms.
