And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. Fergie collaborated with Q-Tip and GoonRock for the track on “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack. The release was timed with the movie, adding a modern groove to its roaring twenties theme.
2. Chris James added lyrics and vocals to the instrumental track inspired by Ray Bradbury’s story. His contribution garnered attention after a Twitter submission.
3. The Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj track received diamond certification from the RIAA in 2024. It’s the first all-female collaboration to achieve this milestone.
4. The North American version of The Saturdays’ track is a solo version. An international version includes Jamaican rapper Sean Paul.
5. The Janoskians originate from Melbourne, Australia. They transitioned from comedy videos to a successful pop act.
6. Knife Party’s track “Power Glove” originally leaked with sub-bass pitched one octave lower. This made it infamous even before the official release.
7. The Roll Deep music video prominently features a white taxi. The video shows a night out and preparations for attending a club.
8. In the David Guetta and Usher track video, locations are linked by a continental drift concept. It visually unites parties across several countries.
9. Cash Cash wrote and produced the track featuring Bebe Rexha. It became a part of their EP “Overtime” and their fourth studio album.
10. The Alesso track with Roy English samples Kylie Minogue’s “Get Outta My Way.” It is a homage to the pop-dance lineage.
11. Alesso’s music video for the Roy English collaboration was filmed at Venice High School. This location is known from films like “Grease” and music videos like Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time.”
12. Swedish artists Agnes and Vargas & Lagola collaborated with Avicii for the single released in May 2019. It’s part of Avicii’s posthumous work.
