And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. The video for the track featuring will.i.am and Pia Mia was directed by Spencer Creigh. It dropped a day before the official release on April 7, 2016.
2. “Can’t Stop Playing (Makes Me High)” was remixed by Oliver Heldens in 2014. The track notched a spot on the UK Singles Chart at number four.
3. Jessie J worked alongside French DJ David Guetta for a track that appeared on her platinum edition album in 2012. This dance-pop collaboration marked her seventh UK single.
4. Clean Bandit’s track from 2013 incorporates Mozart’s String Quartet No. 21. Rather than using a pre-recorded sample, the group recorded the strings themselves.
5. “Late Night Feelings,” by Mark Ronson, features Swedish singer Lykke Li. The song is part of Ronson’s album bearing the same name, released in 2019.
6. Professor Green’s 2010 track samples “Need You Tonight” by INXS. The song led the album “Alive Till I’m Dead” as its debut single.
7. The Cataracs collaborated with New Boyz on their 2011 track. They also co-produced this genre-mixing piece, incorporating hip hop and electropop.
8. BTS released a track featuring Halsey and English lyrics in 2019. Titled “작은 것들을 위한 시 (Boy with Luv)”, it’s part of their album “Map of the Soul: Persona”.
9. For the 2014 film, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar teamed up. Their collaboration appears as the soundtrack’s lead single.
10. “Naturally” by Selena Gomez & The Scene was released as the second single from “Kiss & Tell”. It’s a dance-pop track set in B♭ minor.
11. Pete Tong gave Calvin Harris’ lead single from “Ready for the Weekend” a spin. This aired on January 23, 2009, stamping it as his “essential new tune”.
12. The track “Easy” by Mat Zo and Porter Robinson samples “Nothing Better” by Colourblind. Released in 2012, the song also features an animated music video.
