And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. The original uncensored version of “The Boomin’ System” is available only on the single release. All album versions feature two edited lines due to censorship.
2. “Float” by Rico debuted at position 90 on the UK charts. The track struggled to climb higher, despite having a music video.
3. Laura Bell Bundy’s “Giddy On Up” features a reference to Bath & Body Works. The video is theatrical with notable costume changes.
4. “Turn Off the Light” topped charts in New Zealand and Portugal, but only went platinum in Australia without reaching number one.
5. Aaron Carter’s brother, Nick Carter, features in “I Want Candy.” They discuss a girl named Candy in an opening phone call.
6. The Twang’s “Two Lovers” was released with a remix by Mint Royale. This version added electronic elements to enhance its appeal.
7. Groove Jet, a nightclub in Miami, inspired “Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love).” The club’s enthusiastic reception spurred the name choice.
8. Céline Dion’s “I’m Alive” was featured in the movie *Stuart Little 2*. This helped to boost its popularity, particularly among family audiences.
9. Wes Borland declined an offer to help compose for *Men in Black II*. His refusal was revealed in 2017, long after the film’s release.
10. Sophie Muller directed the video for “Take Me Home.” Known for high-fashion visuals, it complemented Ellis-Bextor’s style well.
11. “Dy-Na-Mi-Tee” by Ms. Dynamite achieved a Silver certification in the UK. The track sold 200,000 units, marking notable success.
12. Three music videos were produced for “Jesus Walks.” Kanye West funded the second and third from his own pocket, showing commitment.
