And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:

1. Andrew Caldwell lent his vocal talents to Whiteout, a Scottish rock band that made waves during the Britpop era. The band found some success but ultimately disbanded in the late ’90s.

2. Curt Smith took leave, marking a shift in Tears for Fears’ dynamic. Roland Orzabal continued to carry the torch during Curt’s absence, crafting hits under the band’s name.

3. The saxophone, courtesy of Raphael Ravenscroft, sings the siren song in “Baker Street.” It’s almost as famous as the street itself, at least in the world of music.

4. Curtis Mayfield penned the original “People Get Ready.” Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart put their spin on it in the mid-’80s, rekindling a collaboration flame from their earlier days.

5. “Little Sister Leaving Town” did not break major records but nudged its way onto the UK Singles Chart. Tikaram’s unique vocal delivery always sets her apart.

6. The black and white aesthetic accompanied Curve’s “Fait Accompli.” It’s a snapshot of the early ’90s, all in glorious monochrome.

7. Twain took “Don’t!” south from the border to Oaxaca, Mexico. The video features timeless sights: a hotel, a plantation, and a nicely coiffed horse.

8. British Christian rockers Delirious? delivered “It’s OK,” soothing nerves with a blend of rock and redemptive narrative, helped along by a brass band.

9. Northern Irish rock band Ash originally blessed us with “Shining Light.” Annie Lennox later added her touch, proving a good song shines under any light.

10. Brandon Flowers and Stuart Price put in extra hours on Starsailor’s “Tell Me It’s Not Over.” The collaboration added a new dimension to the track.

11. Caprice’s “Once Around The Sun” moonlights as a country-pop piece, a departure from the modeling runway to the recording studio. The journey was brief but bright.

12. Jam & Spoon’s “Be Angeled” brings trance beats to heights that only vocalists like Rea Garvey can match. They took electronic music from the club to the charts.
