1. Daft Punk's "Around the World" was released in 1997 and is part of their debut album "Homework". The distinctive music video was indeed directed by Michel Gondry.
2. Cassius’ track from the album "1999" samples "Something" by Al Green in its intro. This sample is among various influences incorporated into the song.
3. 187 Lockdown's track reached number 9 on the UK Singles Chart. It was a notable entry in the UK speed garage scene of the late '90s.
