And the correct answers (in case you missed one or two) are:
1. Mariama Goodman joined Honeyz shortly before “Love of a Lifetime” was promoted, replacing Heavenli Abdi. This lineup change was announced during an appearance on BBC’s Live & Kicking.
2. The video for “Until You Suffer Some (Fire and Ice)” begins in black and white before switching to color. This artistic choice adds a dramatic element to the band’s performance.
3. “Different Time, Different Place” is from Julia Fordham’s album Falling Forward, released in 1994. The album was her fourth studio effort.
4. Matt Goss’s release of “If You Were Here Tonight” led to the replacement of his scheduled single “Heaven Is 10 Zillion.” The song found a spot on the charts after a live performance piqued interest.
5. Marco Pirroni played guitars on “Can’t Set Rules About Love” by Adam Ant. His collaboration with Ant is a staple of the latter’s solo work.
6. G.U.N.’s single “Crazy You” reached the UK Singles Chart at number 21 in 1997. Its brief spell in the rankings showcased the band’s foray into commercial success.
7. Mick Jagger lent his uncredited backing vocals to “You’re So Vain.” His contribution added an extra layer of intrigue to Carly Simon’s hit.
8. Released as a single in 1997, “Bittersweet” by Lewis Taylor stood out as an elegant piece on his debut album from 1996.
9. Neil Tennant’s vocals embellished Cicero’s “That Loving Feeling,” supported by the production expertise of Pet Shop Boys.
10. The Lilac Time shifted from a folk pop sound on the album featuring “All For Love And Love For All.” This pivot marked a creative turn in their sonic evolution.
11. Curiosity’s decision to release a cover of “Hang On in There Baby” came in lieu of “Heaven Is 10 Zillion,” the scrapped single.
12. UB40’s version of “The Train Is Coming” hit the music scene in 1999, following the band’s tradition of cover songs on their Labour of Love series.
