Supergrass goes orchestral (sort of) with 20th anniversary ‘Road to Rouen’ reissue
Supergrass mark 20 years since their 2005 album ‘Road To Rouen’ by announcing a remastered edition, wrapped in petrol and forest green vinyl and bundled with liner notes by Mark Radcliffe. The reissue drops October 3 via BMG and includes unearthed live recordings and a melancholic “lost” track, ‘Don’t Leave Me Alone.’
Shifting from their usual swagger, the album introduces orchestral flourishes and subdued introspection, a detour bassist Mick Quinn describes as both experimental and strangely uplifting.
