Ozzy Osbourne

Laid to rest in style, Ozzy Osbourne gets cheeky send-off—and a few petitions

Ozzy Osbourne is laid to rest on his Buckinghamshire estate after a private ceremony attended by 110 close friends and family, including Elton John, Metallica, and Marilyn Manson. Surrounded by greenery and a tongue-in-cheek floral display reading “Ozzy Fucking Osbourne,” the service unfolds with an air of irreverence befitting the performer’s own wishes.

Yungblud gives a funeral reading, while fans line Birmingham streets, pushing petitions to rename both the local airport and a Download Festival stage in Osbourne’s honor.

Ozzy Osbourne turns dread into decibels, trading blues for bat bites and ballads

Shuffling between infamy and innovation, Ozzy Osbourne steps into music history as the frontman of Black Sabbath, twisting blues-rock into the darker contours of heavy metal. Routed through ominous guitar riffs and themes of existential dread, the sound stakes out a new territory—metal as cultural engine rather than underground rebellion.

Later, his solo career teeters between spectacle and sonic weight, spoon-fed to MTV audiences via bat-biting theatrics and gothic ballads that shape the industry's taste for shock and charisma in equal measure.

Ozzy and Axl Finally Meet, Only Took a Few Decades and One Instagram Post

Ozzy Osbourne and Axl Rose—two names that orbit rock’s planetary system without ever quite aligning—manage a cosmic handshake over the weekend. Fans, equal parts intrigued and incredulous, learn that these icons, who’ve spent decades echoing through the same amphitheaters, had somehow never crossed paths until now.

Ozzy posts the proof on Instagram: a backstage photo featuring himself and the Guns N’ Roses frontman, grinning through decades of riffs, leather, and mythos. A rock-lover’s glitch in the matrix quietly corrected.

Ozzy Bids Stage Goodbye with a Wink, Not a Wail, in Birmingham Finale

Ozzy Osbourne refers to this weekend’s “Back To The Beginning” event in Birmingham as a farewell to live performances. He frames it not as a sudden decision, but as the closing act in a long, theatrically ferocious career on stage.

In a promotional interview released by Premier, he confirms that this July 5 concert marks the final chapter of his presence in front of live audiences—less a blaze of glory than a curtain drawn with a wink.

Ozzy Sells Spit in a Can—$450 Gets You DNA and an Iced Tea Ghost

In a move oscillating between satire and science fiction, Ozzy Osbourne partners with Liquid Death to release ‘Infinite Ozzy’—10 empty iced tea cans he drank from, now hermetically resealed and retailing at $450 apiece, each spiked with his DNA.

With lab technicians and signature pens involved, the idea teeters on Jurassic Park fanfiction: “Clone me, you bastards,” Ozzy commands, just ahead of Black Sabbath’s not-quite-resurrected “final” show in Birmingham this July.
