Talking Heads' 'Fear of Music' Reissued: Reviving 70s Angst with a Live Twist
Talking Heads introduce a Super Deluxe Edition of their album Fear of Music, reviving the edgy allure of late 70s rock. The iconic band also releases a live video of "Life During Wartime," capturing the raw energy of their performance.
The video offers a visceral experience, showcasing the electric ambiance and fiery rhythms that defined their era. Fans of the band are invited to relive the intensity and fervor as the beats pulse with a gritty authenticity.
Talking Heads Reissue 1978 LP, Still Twitched, Still Talking to Your Feet
A new super deluxe edition of Talking Heads' 1978 LP More Songs About Buildings and Food revisits the band’s early experiments in rhythmic neurosis and angular funk. Burnished in wiry guitars and white-knuckled tension, the record trades in a kind of cerebral twitchiness that talks more to the body than the brain.
Long before stadium-sized sounds, the album’s meticulous chaos and nervy grooves document a group navigating artistic control with surgical precision and flammable restraint.
