Don Was conducts Detroit’s fractured groove, DSO brings the metronome
Oak Park native Don Was, both producer and Blue Note Records president, orchestrates a musical union that stretches across Detroit’s fragmented neighborhoods. In counterpoint, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, led by Jader Bignamini, adds a more measured cadence to the weekend’s sonic offerings.
