Buddy Guy Rocks Radio City with Sold-Out Blues Bash, Fans Surely Feel the Blues

Buddy Guy graces the legendary Radio City Music Hall with his 'Buddy's Got the Blues' show, drawing in a sold-out crowd. The evening reveals a celebration of blues, infused with Guy's signature flair and emotive guitar playing.

The venue pulses with audience anticipation, as Guy traverses through a setlist woven with tales of musical exploration and personal narrative. The show plants itself in the hearts of those lucky enough to witness his performance, marking a milestone in Guy's storied journey.

At 89, Buddy Guy tours like it’s 1965—with riffs, wit, and zero retirement plans

At 89, Buddy Guy still tours, performs, and carries the weight of blues history with a grin that says he knows exactly what he’s doing. He insists he’s the last of them—the old men still playing the blues—but doesn’t seem burdened by it.

Between heavyset riffs and quips about mortality, he reflects on a life shaped by guitar strings and stubborn resilience. With Sinners in his corner and a touring calendar that would shame someone half his age, Guy shows no signs of stepping quietly into any twilight.
