Tommy Lee's High School Weight on Joe Rogan: Drumming's Secret to Staying Fit?
MÖTLEY CRÜE's Tommy Lee elaborates on the rigors of drumming on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, shedding light on his consistent high school weight.
Lee reflects, somewhat incredulously, on maintaining the same physique despite years of energetic performances.
Tommy Lee on 45 Years of Mötley Crüe: “We’re Somehow Still Here”
In a recent exchange with Bonnie Laufer, MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee reflects on the unlikely continuity of a band that's weathered four and a half decades of excess, ego, and drum solos. When prodded about the elusive ingredient keeping the crew from imploding, Lee deflects with a shrug and a grin, offering no grand theory—just disbelief that they’re still here.
He adds that their current chemistry is stronger than ever, insisting, “We're actually closer now than we've ever been.” The subtext? Maybe surviving yourself is the real test of loyalty.
