Gorillaz tap Trueno and late D12 rapper Proof for eerie “The Manifesto” drop

Gorillaz release “The Manifesto,” a collaboration with Argentine rapper Trueno and a posthumous appearance from Proof, the late D12 member. The track is the latest drop from their ongoing project, The Mountain.

Layering volatile flows over reverb-heavy production, Trueno maneuvers through verses in Spanish while Proof’s vocals—resurfaced from archival recordings—cast a shadowed echo across the track’s grinding beat palette.
