These guys were really accomplished musicians, though they played along to some questionable backing music. Questionable to me, at least, though I dare say some of the tunes were crowd pleasers, which may help them get paid more. I do enjoy a killer horn section. Those of you who are unfamiliar could do well to check out Kool & The Gang and Fred Wesley & The Horny Horns, for starters. If you want more suggestions, just ask in the comments section :D
