Interpolating chaos into cohesion, JADE’s debut solo album THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! sidesteps concepts for experimentation, stitching together dizzyingly distinct sounds from track to track. Composing feverishly post-Little Mix hiatus, she taps into her inner pop scholar, citing Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, and a well-watched Madonna documentary as tonal touchpoints.

She calls herself unabashedly a “pop girly,” wielding shiny melodies and theatrical flourishes with the precision of someone who once collected CD inserts like holy texts. Her tour promises a cabaret-inflected spectacle—with costume changes and all the camp she can fit on a theatre stage. The U.S. leg remains tentative but hoped for.
