Stripped of his former onstage flourish, Liam Gallagher now faces a ban not on his words but his aim. Once punctuating Oasis shows by theatrically flinging maracas and tambourines into the swelling masses, the singer now begrudgingly concedes to management’s decree: no more airborne percussion.

The crackdown follows fan altercations over these rogue souvenirs—tokens that now double as potential hazards. “You don’t know how to behave yourselves,” Gallagher announces, tongue firmly in cheek.
