Soilwork ditches album deadlines, stockpiling songs like it’s a warehouse sale

Soilwork frontman Björn “Speed” Strid peels back the curtain on the band’s current writing phase, confirming that they’ve amassed material surpassing the length of one full album. Posthumous to guitarist David Andersson's passing, the process has adopted new contours—less concerned with album cycles, more about creative rhythm.

Strid remarks the group is operating without deadline pressure, collecting tracks that might eventually sprawl across multiple records rather than being shoehorned into one.
