Sam Fender hauls nostalgia and new tunes on UK tour—now fully electric, mind you

With his 'People Watching' tour, Sam Fender enlists four all-electric eActros 600 trucks—courtesy of Mercedes-Benz and KB Event—becoming the first artist to tour exclusively on battery power. Each vehicle hauls stage gear across UK and Ireland stops from Manchester to Stradbally, quietly charging in transit while Fender belts out reflective commentaries on nostalgia and social alienation.

Fender tips his flat cap to Massive Attack for greening the way, while ticket revenue from his 2024 run throws a financial lifejacket to 48 grassroots venues. Meanwhile, his Mercury Prize-shortlisted third album signals a brewing fourth—plus, he’s teasing “a fuck load” of new tracks next year.
