Roger Daltrey

Roger Daltrey clocks back in for Rock Camp’s 30th, 15 years later

Roger Daltrey reenters the Rock 'n’ Roll Fantasy Camp orbit for its 30th anniversary in Miami, January 2026. Sharing the spotlight with The Who’s Simon Townshend, Daltrey breaks a fifteen-year absence, noting the event “reminds you of where you came from."

Participants perform alongside the two and others like Tony Franklin, Vinny Appice, and Britt Lightning. Ahead of the milestone, precursor camps feature Alice Cooper and Rob Halford this November, with December bringing Felix Cavaliere and Mark Farner to the stage.

Roger Daltrey shrugs off rock star snarl, picks up knighthood for charity work

Swapping the stage for ceremonial splendor, Roger Daltrey now answers to “Sir” in the King's Birthday Honours roll call. The 81-year-old frontman of The Who receives a knighthood, not for any lingering echo of microphone-swinging bravado, but for his charitable ventures.

A particular point of note—his longstanding role as patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust since 20—cements his presence at the intersection of British rock legacy and philanthropic consistency.
