Missy Elliott, never one to let a fan plea echo unanswered, enters the digital fray by tagging Universal Music Group and Geffen Records to nudge them—gently but publicly—into uploading “Car Wash,” her 2004 duet with Christina Aguilera from Shark Tale, onto streaming platforms.
The track, along with six other cuts from the soundtrack, including Justin Timberlake and Timbaland’s “Good Foot,” remains curiously absent, despite noticeable online demand.
