Melissa Auf der Maur reappears beside Billy Corgan in Montreal, slipping into the finale of his solo concert with a cameo on “The Everlasting Gaze.” The track, which she only ever graced visually in its 2000 video, becomes her stage vehicle once again — this time in real-time, on home turf.
She recalls meeting Corgan in 1991 during her pre-Pumpkins era, teasing about unreciprocated memories and broken beer bottles. With a parting quip, she assures Corgan, "I will follow you until the end of time.”
