Fat Joe recounts losing sneaker deals with Nike and Reebok—allegedly worth millions—after tensions with Jay-Z and 50 Cent flared in the mid-2000s. On an episode of “Sneaker Shopping,” he narrates how an almost-finalized Jordan collaboration, designed by Michael Jordan himself, dissolved post-VMA drama with 50 Cent.

Reebok followed suit: the brand’s leadership withdrew after learning Joe wasn’t on good terms with Jay-Z, who was affiliated with them. Years later, both feuds eventually mellow through mutual losses and photo ops.
