Bastille step back into the boardroom, pen in hand, sealing a new deal with EMI Records just as the industry tries on its latest hybrid masks—merging music, film, and TV with a straight face and a marketing plan.
Label co-presidents Rebecca Allen and Jo Charrington spill to Music Week about a stack of “multiple projects” underway, as EMI continues its flirtation with formats that blur the lines between chart singles and streaming screenplays.
