Rod Wave drops new tracks—then lands in jail on drug and gun charges in Atlanta

Rod Wave, legally known as Rodarius Green, is arrested in Atlanta on charges ranging from possession of Schedule II and V substances to carrying a firearm during the commission of a felony. The incident lands him in Fulton County Jail with bond set at $8,000 after a court appearance.

It’s hardly his first brush with the law—earlier arrests in Georgia and Florida include aggravated assault, firearm offenses, and a dropped strangulation charge. Meanwhile, he releases “Sinners” and “Westside Connection,” with Last Lap reaching No. 2 on Billboard 200.
