Rauw Alejandro trades stage lights for Statham’s glare in Ritchie’s gangster flick

Rauw Alejandro sidesteps the concert spotlight and steps into Guy Ritchie’s orbit for his cinematic debut in Viva La Madness, a film adaptation of J.J. Connolly’s 2011 novel. Jason Statham leads a cast that reads more like a British gangster flick reunion than a typical Hollywood ensemble.

Filming kicks off in January, promising Ritchie’s signature blend of dry wit, stylized violence and plot entanglements. Rauw hints at “special collabs” and additional screen appearances, playing coy but calculated on the Grammys red carpet.

Rauw Alejandro ditches mafia glitz for Caribbean rhythms in Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0

Rauw Alejandro releases Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0 as a sonic preface to last fall’s Cosa Nuestra, trading the New York mafia glamour for a textured homage to Caribbean lineage. The album precedes the Latin American leg of his tour, resuming in Chile on Oct. 13.

Spanning bomba, plena, and his first bachata penned by Romeo Santos, it closes with three salsa cuts, one featuring Mon Laferte. Amid perreo and R&B returns, the 14-track set includes the previously released “Santa” with Rvssian and Ayra Starr.

Rauw Alejandro decodes tour math, Vans flashback and bot-free dreams at summit

Set at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood on Nov. 3, Billboard’s 2025 Live Music Summit promises an industry reunion staged with precision and tightly-scripted intent. Rauw Alejandro surfaces as the main course, dissecting his Cosa Nuestra tour with Live Nation's Hans Schaefer, shedding light on staging theatrics and the economics of star demand.

The day expands with a Vans Warped Tour retrospective, Maggie Baird’s eco-parenting gospel, and a cautious unpacking of Chappell Roan’s bot-free ticketing model. Drinks, deals, and discourse round off the one-day affair.

Fortnite Hit With Lawsuit for Selling Choreographer’s Moves Without a Credit

In a legal swipe at Epic Games, choreographer Fefe Burgos accuses the Fortnite creator of repurposing his registered moves from Rauw Alejandro’s "Touching The Sky" video as a for-sale in-game emote. The gesture, Burgos claims, mirrors choreography he crafted for a platinum-certified track that paraded across various NYC backdrops.

Burgos, whose résumé includes Usher and Selena Gomez, argues Fortnite monetizes artistic labor without credit or compensation. Alejandro remains uninvolved.
