Cradle of Filth Alumni Sue Dani for Royalties, Clown Antics, and T-Shirts

Six ex-members of Cradle of Filth, including Paul Allender, Richard Shaw, Lindsay Matheson, and more, file a lawsuit in Arizona targeting frontman Dani Filth. They allege copyright infringement, defamation, unpaid royalties, and unauthorised use of their likeness on merchandise.

Guitarist Šmerda and keyboardist Federoff, who quit last August citing low pay and internal chaos, point to the band’s Ed Sheeran collaboration as “foolish clown antics.” Filth defends himself, referencing tour tensions and contracts signed “in a rush.”
