Page and Holmes Call It Even Over “Dazed and Confused”—No Court, No Encore

Jimmy Page calls time on Jake Holmes’ latest copyright challenge, as the two quietly settle a dispute circling Led Zeppelin’s “Dazed and Confused.”

The agreement halts Holmes’ claim that Page has flouted a previous deal over the song’s origins, notably its presence in Yardbirds recordings and the documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin.

Holmes, who penned an earlier version in 1967, argues Page lifted the composition without credit or royalty for decades.

The case never reaches full litigation, and the confidential resolution arrives before Page officially responds in court.
