Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, veiled in smoke outside Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre, perform four tracks at the Tron: Ares premiere — two making their live debut: “Forked Reality” and “Shadow Over Me.”

Appearing both onscreen and onstage, the duo stand beside the cast before launching into “As Alive as You Need Me to Be,” later seguing into “The Warning,” whose dystopian anxieties echo the film’s artificial-intelligence nightmare, and ending in their usual shroud of vapor and red lasers.
