Babyshambles Guitarist Patrick Walden Dies at 46, Chaos Echoes in His Riffs
Patrick Walden, former Babyshambles guitarist, dies at 46. Tributes surface across social platforms, hailing his chaotic yet precise guitar work on the band’s 2005 debut Down in Albion.
He co-writes tracks like “Fuck Forever” and “Pipedown,” defining the band’s fractured aesthetic. Despite leaving amid personal turmoil in 2006, his presence lingers in the erratic, furious riffs fans still obsess over.
In recent years, he studies jazz, hinting at old loves never fully abandoned. Reunions loom; Walden remains a conspicuous absence.
