Pitbull turns up like a kid’s birthday—if the cake were vodka and confetti flew late.
At Manchester’s Co-Op Live, Pitbull instructs a crowd of over 20,000 in basic Spanish, inviting them to chant, “Yo no quiero agua, yo quiero bebida.” The translation—“I don’t want water, I want a drink”—lands precisely where the night aims: maximal escapism with minimal subtlety.
His Party After Dark tour blitzes through the carefree EDM-rap gloss of post-2008 hedonism, now revived in the shadow of economic anxiety. Some dress as Mr Worldwide himself—bald caps, drawn-on beards, and aviators—willing to overlook the show’s loose ends for a shared feeling of abandon.
