Biffy Clyro kicks off 2026 tour minus bassist, adds angles and Naomi Macleod

Biffy Clyro inaugurates their 2026 ‘Futique’ UK and Ireland tour at Belfast’s SSE Arena, launching a nine-date arena stretch in support of their 10th album, released in September. Bassist James Johnston steps aside to address long-standing health matters, replaced temporarily by Naomi Macleod.

The setlist features seven tracks from ‘Futique’ interwoven with older material like ‘Mountains’ and ‘Many of Horror’, as geometric stage visuals echo the album’s angular design. Support acts include Soft Play and The Armed.

Biffy Clyro plot noisy nostalgia trip with 2026 Finsbury Park return

Biffy Clyro stage a sonic homecoming with their upcoming 2026 Finsbury Park date—joined by Nothing But Thieves and Don Broco—staking their claim as veterans still willing to recalibrate. Between AirBnB aphorisms and reflections on past hotel-trashing missteps, the band juggles nostalgia with pointed self-awareness.

Frontman Simon Neil eyes reinvention through fresh production methods, while a raucous new set of songs leans garage rock and loosely structured oddities. Full-throttle arena shows and a cheeky Scotland World Cup anthem complete this curious pivot.

Biffy Clyro outsell the pack (again), as Futique hits No. 1 on U.K. chart

Biffy Clyro’s tenth album, Futique, enters the Official Albums Chart at No. 1, giving the Scottish trio their fourth U.K. chart-topper, fueled largely by physical sales. It simultaneously leads the Official Record Store and Vinyl Albums Charts.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend holds steady at No. 2, while Lola Young secures a career-best at No. 3 with I’m Only F-king Myself. The Divine Comedy lands at No. 4, ahead of Ed Sheeran’s Play at No. 5.
