Aurora and Tom Rowlands form Tomora, schedule debut album for April 17 release
Norwegian alt-pop artist Aurora and The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands forge a new alias—Tomora—and announce their debut album Come Closer, arriving April 17 via Fontana. Described as their “landing zone of musical escape pods,” the 12-track record includes pre-released singles “Ring The Alarm” and “COME CLOSER.”
The duo, who first collaborated on Chems’ No Geography, will debut live at two intimate shows in Manchester and London ahead of festival dates including Coachella, Down The Rabbit Hole, and Øya.

AURORA and Tom Rowlands form TOMORA, ring in chaos with debut single
AURORA joins forces with The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands for TOMORA, a name spliced from their own. The duo launches their debut with ‘Ring The Alarm’, a track where digital dissonance morphs into pulsing bass, wrapped around AURORA's mantra-like refrain.
The accompanying video, helmed by Adam Smith in noir pink hues, places AURORA at its hypnotic core. Booked for Coachella, Øya and Down The Rabbit Hole, TOMORA signals more than a cameo collaboration—this is a shared sonic experiment in full bloom.
