Madness Stirs London Nostalgia with Revitalized Cult Film "Take It or Leave It"
March 1981 sees Madness return to their gritty roots, not with fast cars, but with a semi-fictional film, "Take It or Leave It." Capturing their whimsical ascent from working-class origins, it's a melancholic tableau of their journey.
While initially ignored, a fresh 4K restoration revives this cult classic, offering a raw depiction of the band's struggle, set against the grimy backdrop of 70s London—a rare gem of guerrilla cinema waiting to be rediscovered.
